Princess Kate spending more time 'out and about' amid huge outpouring of public support
The Princess of Wales has been spending more time out and about with family as she continues her cancer battle, according to reports.
Princess Kate revealed in an emotional video message in March that she had been receiving chemotherapy since late February.
She has now been spending more time outside with her children and husband in recent weeks, according to the MailOnline.
The royal correspondence team at the palace has said it has been difficult to cope with the number of messages of support for Kate since her announcement, it says.
It is understood that in a typical week up to 1,000 letters are dealt with by the Court Post Office but the number has significantly increased since the 42-year-old’s cancer announcement in March.
Palace staff are said to be “so touched” by the loving and caring messages but Kensington Palace has stressed that the Princess still needs more time and space to recover.
Last week, a royal insider claimed Kate is "in a very different position" to King Charles as she continues to recover from her cancer treatment.
But William gave a positive update on his wife’s condition during a visit to the Isles of Scilly earlier this month.
The Prince of Wales explained “she’s doing well” as he toured the only hospital on the islands just off the coast of Cornwall.
The Princess of Wales appealed for her family to have time, space and privacy when she announced her diagnosis for an undisclosed form of cancer on March 22, and said she had begun chemotherapy.
