Pregnant woman reveals disappointment over Big Mac 'fail'

When a heavily pregnant Sydney woman headed to her local McDonald’s to fix her burdening food craving, she had only one thing on her mind.

“A Big Mac without pickle or onions,” Emily Ryan revealed.

The mother-of-one, who is due to give birth on Friday, went to the Waterloo branch of McDonald’s to order food for her family via the Drive-Thru.

While she checked all of her order was in the brown bag she received from the Maccas employee, she never thought she would need to look inside the packaging to ensure her food was right.

When she opened the box on the car ride home, to her horror, she quickly realised there had been a monumental error.

Ms Ryan said her Big Mac had been served with no bun either side of the two patties.

“When I first opened the box I was pretty annoyed especially because my husband thought it was hilarious,” she told Yahoo7 News.

“I’m due to give birth tomorrow so I’m pretty over it at the moment.”

But it was her husband who was about to face the wrath of a now hungry Ms Ryan and in particular his meal as she went straight for his fries.

When looking at the receipt, Ms Ryan noticed ‘no bun Big Mac’ was listed.

It appears instead of taking off the pickles, the bun was sacrificed.

But the mother said she didn’t hold any grudges as the store was packed to the rafters during their visit.

“In the end I thought it was funny as well,” she said.

Ms Ryan revealed staff also promised her a free Big Mac the next time she went in.
