Powerball jackpot doubles to $40 million overnight
Powerball has jackpotted to $40 million after no one took home Thursday night’s division one prize.
The $20 million prize doubled overnight for next Thursday’s draw after no one matched the winning numbers of 10, 16, 23, 24, 27, 28, 33 and the Powerball number 12.
However, not everyone was left empty-handed.
Seven division two winners each received more than $59,000.
If you’re after some numbers for next week’s draw you could use some of the most drawn digits in the last 12 months.
Seventeen was the most drawn number at 27 times while 2, 9 and 11 were all drawn 26 times.
For the Powerball numbers 3 and 19, they’ve been drawn nine times.
