Powerball 1303: The numbers you need to score $20 million
The winning Powerball numbers are in for Thursday's massive $20 million draw. Here are the numbers you need to know.
The numbers for draw number 1303 are 10, 14, 16, 21, 23, 25 and 34 and the all-important Powerball number is 9.
Unfortunately no punters took out the top prize this week, although three players will share the division two prize, taking home just over $140,000 each.
It's the second week in a row without a division one win.
Powerball winners split $80 million prize
Two weeks ago, two lucky NSW residents split the huge $80 million Powerball jackpot — a man in Smithfield in Sydney's west and another woman from Campbelltown.
The woman from Campbelltown was a retired grandmother, who could not believe she had won.
“My grandson told me earlier this week, ‘Grandma’s going to win the lotto’ and that’s why I bought a ticket," she said.
“I’m a bit gobsmacked. I’m in shock. I can’t believe it."
Five days after the draw, the second winner was finally found after it was revealed one of the digits in the phone number he provided was wrong.
The Smithfield resident said the win reduced him to tears and he plans to use the winnings to pay off his mortgage.
“I still can’t believe it,” he told The Lott officials.
“I’d heard there was another Powerball winner they were trying to contact.
“I even said to my friend, ‘we’ll never win, only old people win’."
