Popular US chain giving away year of free burgers at Melbourne opening
If the way to one’s heart is through their stomach, a popular US hamburger chain has the perfect Valentine’s Day gift Melbourne sweethearts – free burgers for a year.
As “pioneers of the great American Burger” Carl’s Jr will opening its doors at the Docklands on Thursday morning.
As part of the launch, the first 50 customers to walk through the doors at Carl’s Jr District Docklands will receive a year’s supply of its famous Chargrilled Thickburgers.
Carl’s Jr has almost 1,500 stores globally, and the Docklands opening will become its 15th in Australia joining other Victorian stores at Westfield Knox, Cranbourne, as well as Queensland and South Australia.
Previous openings, including at Westfield Knox last November have had burger lovers camping out overnight, so the burger chain urged customers to arrive early well before doors open at 9am.
“Head down to The District Docklands on Valentine’s Day, 14 February for your chance to win free burgers for a year,” the company said in its Facebook event post.
“The first 50 customers win the ultimate prize and eat free at 9am.”
How to get free Carl’s Jr burgers for a year
Be the first 50 people in line at the opening of the Carl’s Junior store, at the District Docklands (Docklands Drive) on Thursday.
The new store is located adjacent the Melbourne Star, just below HOYTS.
The first 50 customers win the ultimate prize and will also eat free.
