Popular feta cheese recalled over E.coli contamination fears


A popular brand of cheese has been recalled due to health concerns.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission issued a recall on Thursday for Maleny Cheese’s herb and garlic feta over fears of E.coli contamination.

It’s for various weight sizes of the product sold in IGA’s and other stores in Queensland between January 23 and February 5.

The use by date is May 21.

Anyone who’s consumed the cheese should seek medical advice and return the product for a full refund.
