Police Scotland investigate spate of thefts from charity clothing banks
Police are investigating a spate of thefts from charity clothing banks across Scotland.
Two separate Salvation Army banks were recently targeted in Dundee.
Clothing was stolen from one in South Road and another in Riverside Drive at some point between 8.45am on Thursday 18 January and 9am on Saturday 20 January.
Police Scotland said it is aware of similar incidents throughout 2023 in which clothing banks were raided in Tayside, Fife and Glasgow, but the force added it is unclear whether the thefts are linked.
