Photographer spends ten years travelling to capture breathtaking pics of nature taking over abandoned buildings
A photographer has attempted to show there is a “second life” to abandoned buildings when nature fully takes over.
Dad-of-one Simon Sugden, 51, has spent the last ten years taking beautiful photos of abandoned mills and derelict buildings.
Drawing inspiration from dereliction to architecture, Simon’s photography explores the idea that buildings have a second chance after their useful life, where nature and decay take over to create a new kind of beauty.

He is bringing a photographic exhibition - which will display some of his finest works - called The Beauty In Decay to Cliffe Castle Museum in Keighley, West Yorks., next month.
The exhibition will showcase 15 images and a large centrepiece of a scrapyard in Shipley which is currently still in use.
The exhibition - which coincides with 10 years of him taking photos - will run from Saturday, July 20, to Sunday, September 8.
