Roses are red, violets are blue, but Valentine’s Day has many seeing green, too.

With cupid’s aim squarely on your wallets, navigating the floral aisle this time of year can be a maze of costs and choices. Flowers prices can double during the holiday, contributing to the $25.8 billion Americans are expected to spend on Valentine’s Day this year. That’s roughly $185 per person, according to the National Retail Federation.
