Pedro Pascal rocked an unusual accessory at last night's (January 7) Golden Globes, revealing he has sustained an injury to his arm.

The Last of Us star attended the star-studded night wearing a sling, explaining he had got injured in a fall.

On the red carpet, the Game of Thrones actor was asked about the arm sling.

"I fell," he told The Associated Press, adding a heartfelt piece of advice: "Be careful! Exactly, it can happen to anybody."

An adaptation of the video game of the same name, The Last of Us will return for a second instalment, possibly in 2025.

What the drama has in store after season 2 isn't clear, as HBO drama chief Francesca Orsi said there is no guarantee the show will continue past its upcoming batch of episodes.

"We have loosely heard that there will be a season 3 idea for the series, but at this point, we're taking it one season at a time," she told Deadline last June.

"There's no guarantee at this point that we'll have a season 3 but I know that [creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann] both have a vision for season 3. Whether that lends itself to doing more [seasons], I don't know yet."

The Last of Us airs on HBO in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW in the UK.
