Search for missing surfer off New South Wales north coast
A man's body has been found after rescue crews searched waters in Northern New South Wales following reports of a man drowning.
Police were told by witnesses a body boarder lost his board while in the surf about 11.30am at Fingal Head.
He attempted to climb out of the water onto rocks but has disappeared.
Police searched for a 20-year-old male with assistance from the local surf lifesaving club for more than two hours.
They have found a man's body and paramedics are trying to revive him.
