A health alert has been issued for anyone who might have visited the Star in Sydney’s Pyrmont in past weeks.

The alert comes after a staff member of the Sokyo restaurant has been diagnosed with Hepatitis A.

Authorities believe the staff member contracted the infection while on an overseas holiday and the risk of passing it on is considered low.

Anyone who dined at the restaurant in recent weeks is advised to contact their GP if they have any concerns.

The restaurant at the casino is operating as normal.
