'We're going home': Men acquitted of NSW gang rape of teenage girl

A jury has found four men not guilty of the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl at a Blue Mountains party in 2012.

Christian Dickens, 22, Aaron Jensen, 23, and two other men who cannot be identified for legal reasons were accused of sexually assaulting the girl at a Hazelbook house party.

The girl told police she woke to being assaulted by the men, but was too intoxicated to stop them.

When police shut the party down, she said one of the men put his hand over her mouth to stifle her screams.

However, the jury accepted the group's defence that the sex was consensual, returning a majority not guilty verdict.

As the verdict was handed down, families in the gallery started crying and clapping.

The men in the dock turned to each other and said "We're going home."

They will return to court on lesser charges relating to the incident in August.
