Shocking road rage incident in peak hour traffic in Sydney
A shocking road rage incident which saw two men exchange blows during peak hour traffic in Sydney, has been caught on dash cam.
Vision uploaded to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page, shows the violent outburst which took place on the M4 around 6pm on Wednesday.
In the video, the screeching sound of a motorist slamming on his breaks rings out, from a hatchback, which is driving close behind another vehicle.
The hatchback driver then attempts to go around the car in front, just as the driver of that vehicle gets out of his car.
The angry motorist then storms over to the hatchback and hurls abuse at the driver in the vehicle.
He then opens the door of the hatchback and continue to shout at the other man, before kicking him.
The hatchback driver then jumps out of his car to defend himself and a struggle ensues. The other motorist then pins the hatchback owner against his vehicle and continues to hurl abuse at him.
The furious motorist lets the hatchback owner go when other vehicles start beeping and another man begins to approach them.
The woman named Jess, who captured the dramatic incident, said the man in the hatchback had been driving dangerously.
“In no way do I condone the violence shown but I do believe in karma and the guy in the purple hatchback definitely had some coming to him.
She said the hatchback owner had previously pushed into a turning lane on Homebush Bay Drive to bypass a huge traffic jam.
“He cut me off and almost took the front of my car off in the process!
“He then proceeds to block the guy in the white car several times from legally merging in front of him while trying to enter the M4.
She said the pair had been abusing each other and flipping each other off as they travelled down the road.
“From what I saw in my rear vision mirror, it looked like the guy in the purple hatchback tried to come up beside the white car in the breakdown lane.”
