Brave Natesha fitting a lifetime into a couple of weeks

Sydney teenager Natesha Gill is old enough to understand she has just weeks to live, but she is still young enough for wishes.

And, today, the 14-year-old, who is doing her best to fight cancer, has just had two granted.

Natesha received a visit from two of her favourite footballers at the children's hospice Bear Cottage.

She met Manly Rugby League stars Daly Cherry-Evans and Kieran Foran, who stopped by for a chat, a laugh, and to hand over a couple of signed jerseys.

The cancer in Natesha's sinus is rare, aggressive and is terminal. Daily radiation will only slow the tumours growth.

"I'm a bit scared," she said. "Just a bit ... a little bit."

Dad Darren McArdle admits it is all so hard to take.

"[Its] confronting, upsetting, but she is strong."

While it is Daly and Kieran's off season they know that, as Manly players, their influence is not contained to just a football field.

Kieran said: "It only takes a moment like this to everything back into perspective for yourself."

Natesha's mother, Anna Gill said. "It means so much. She's trying to fit a whole lifetime into a couple of weeks."

And her family is determined to make them the best weeks of her life - and days like this will only make her stronger.
