Police search for man after 10-year-old shown porn on train


A search is underway to find a man after it’s alleged a boy was shown pornography on a Melbourne-bound train.

The man asked the boy to sit next to him on the train between Sandown and Oakleigh stations on January 24 at about 11.20am.

It’s believed he boarded at Dandenong station.

He allegedly showed the 10-year-old pornographic images on his phone.

The man was said to be wearing a a blue cap, blue short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and runners. He is of Asian appearance and aged in his 50s.

Detectives have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
