Hello kitty: Internet loses it over video of cat knocking on door
This clever kitty has figured out how to gain the attention of its owners, caught on video perched against the front door to use a door knocker like a pro.
The video shared to Facebook on Friday shows the black cat perched on the handrail by its hind legs, and social media users can’t get enough.
The feline leans across the door of the suburban home in Cardiff, UK, and stretches its tiny paw across to reach the gold knocker, before giving it a few raps.
"I'm either seeing things because it's 6 a.m or this cat is actually knocking the door?" a surprised Sheekilah Jones wrote on Facebook, sharing the clip.
It’s not known whether the homeowners ended up immediately answering the door for the cat, but the animal’s cleverness has set the internet into a spin.
“Damn cat got game,” one woman wrote on Facebook.
Many have joked the cat had been out partying all night, because of the early morning door knocking.
“When you sneak out late and come back home and the doors locked,” one person wrote.
“Cats are incredibly smart...and agile!” another commented.
The video has already been viewed more than 13 million times, and shared almost 3,000 times.
