Mystery surrounds an abandoned newborn baby boy found in a zipped up suitcase next to a garbage compactor.

The little boy was found outside an apartment building in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday morning after he was heard crying inside.

Police have now released included photos of a suitcase, blanket and scarf they hope will help find the person who left him.

According to Fox 4, there is no CCTV in the area he was dumped.

He was also only a few hours old and had been born four to six weeks premature, the station reported.
