New photo reignites viral Melania Trump rumour
A new image has reignited rumours the Trump administration uses a body double to fill in for Melania Trump.
The image of the First Lady of the US and the President boarding Marine One at the White House taken on October 22 circulated Twitter over the weekend, with thousands of users claiming she was “the fake Melania”.
She can be seen wearing large black glasses while grinning and showing what numerous people claimed was more teeth than usual.
“The only thing I'll miss from this administration is them swapping in new Melanias and just pretending we won't notice like a 4-year-old with a guppy,” one man wrote.
“It is the pointy nose and the smile. Melania's smile is a condescending smirk,” another said.
“Good luck finding any photos of Melania smiling like that,” a third person chimed in.

Even The Sunday Project host Lisa Wilkinson got into the “fake Melania” conspiracy, posting a video on Twitter of Melania from the beginning of her husband’s administration of the First Lady smiling before immediately changing her expression to look quite glum.
“For anyone fooled by the fake Melania beaming (that’s a clue right there) from the top of the plane stairs as Trump arrived in Wisconsin a few hours ago, THIS is the real Melania,” Wilkinson said.

Rumours that the Trump administration uses a body double for Melania first emerged in 2017 when actor and comedian Andrew Wagner Barton posted about the theory on Facebook.
“Will the real Melania please stand up?
“Is it me or during his speech today a decoy ‘stood in’ for Melania?? And...Why would the moron say “my wife, Melania, who happens to be right here...”
“Seriously, watch very closely!”
Her post went viral and has been shared almost 200k times.

Recent claims come after Melania once again refused to hold her husband’s hand in yet another on-camera cringeworthy moment.
The couple were leaving the stage following the final presidential debate when Melania Trump paced ahead of the president before ripping her hand away from his.
Trump, seemingly downtrodden by the bold move, falls behind his wife before reaching out and pushing her in the back.
The pair are expected to greet guests at a Halloween event at the White House on Sunday night (local time).
