NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama reveals cast secret
NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama has revealed how the cast bond with each other while filming for the show.
In an interview with PEOPLE ahead of the long-running police procedural's 1000th episode milestone, the actor talked about his favourite parts of working on NCIS and how the cast use the darker storylines as bonding moments.
"We have a blast on set!" he said, adding that its fun to work alongside people who "love what they do."
"The funny thing is that the darker the case, the funnier the set," he continued. "We laugh our asses off. And it doesn't hurt that the world comes along and enjoys it with us."

Valderrama joined the NCIS franchise in 2016 as Agent Nick Torres and has been a series regular ever since, adding that: "It's been such an honour to contribute to a show that knows itself and continues to listen to its fans."
Since its series premiere back in 2003, NCIS has been going strong and the main show is currently airing it's 21st season, alongside spin-offs such as NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Hawai'i.
The franchise looks like it has a strong future ahead of it, with the main season having been renewed for a 22nd outing earlier this month, while newest spin-off NCIS: Sydney has had confirmation of a second season.

Meanwhile, Valderrama's on-screen counterpart has seen a rocky start to season 21, with Torres being arrested for murder during the season premiere after he confronted the man who had tormented his family as a child.
Season 21 also saw a tribute to David McCallum, who had passed away on September 25, 2023, aged 90. The actor had played long-running character Dr Donald 'Ducky' Mallard since the show first aired over 20 years ago.
NCIS airs on CBS in the US. Seasons 1-20 are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
