Mum's emotional plea after sons coward punched in supermarket car park

A Victorian mum has pleaded for public help to find the attackers who coward punched her sons in a supermarket car park.

The duo, aged 20 and 17, were walking through a car park on Railway Grove at Mornington about 3am on Saturday when they became involved in a fight with a group of males, police said.

The victims were punched and knocked to the ground before their attackers drove off.

The 20-year-old from Mount Martha and 17-year-old from Mornington were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening head injuries.

Hours later, Amanda Kilner Higgins posted an emotional plea to Facebook to help find out who attacked her sons.

"These are my two boys at the Alfred ED," she wrote.

"Both king hit early this morning in Mornington Coles carpark. If anyone saw or knows anything please let me know."
