CCTV captures missing woman Sarah Weatherstone's last known movements

The Melbourne woman has been missing for almost a month with police and family members calling for any relevant information.

The parents of a missing Victorian woman not seen for 27 days have made a desperate and emotional public plea for help, describing the mystery of her disappearance as a "living nightmare".

Sarah Weatherstone, 28, was last seen by friends in Narre Warren, in the city's southeast on the afternoon of March 23.

Victoria Police have now released footage of her last known movements, showing her leaving a factory alone in Narre Warren, as authorities appeal for anyone with information to come forward.

The blonde-haired woman can be seen wearing a green jumper, cream track pants, white sneakers and a yellow singlet.

Speaking to media, Sarah's mother, Judith Weatherstone, said she was very "close" with her daughter, who reportedly suffers from a borderline personality disorder.

"I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy," she said.

"It’s a living nightmare. I see this on my TV shows. I don’t want to live it."

The distraught mother said it was extremely out of character for her daughter not to be in contact, even in the case of a fight. She missed her birthday earlier this month as well as a family trip for a wedding.

"It’s like she’s vanished. She’s a very family orientated girl," she said.

Earlier, police conducted a three-day search in the Hallam Valley Wetlands with the assistance of Air Wing, Search and Rescue, SES, police drones and Mounted Branch.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential online report here.
