In the grainy footage, the men can be seen taking a shortcut to the next platform by walking across three sets of train tracks.

As they approach the platform, they see the speeding train headed directly for them but instead of turning back, they continue to hurry across.

The men climb up the platform just a fraction too late as the train hurtles past, clipping them both and sending them flying through the air.

One man lands off screen while the other lies on the empty platform withering in pain.
