Woman leaps McDonald's counter and starts brawl over slow service
A mother waiting for ice creams with her children filmed an angry McDonald's customer in the US jumping the counter to brawl with staff after complaining her McChicken burger was taking too long.
Iowa woman Amanda Garland Gravely was sitting in the drive-thru of a McDonald's with her children when she heard the furore inside the restaurant.
"Automatically, just because of how irate she was, I took out my camera and recorded her to see how far it would go, just in case," she told KCCI 8 News.
"And it just escalated really quickly."
The Des Moines mum's video shows the woman arguing across the counter at restaurant staff about the pace of her McChicken when she demands her money back.
In the video posted to Facebook on Saturday, the woman jumps onto the counter on her knees, yelling "Give me my s''''''" to the staff as her two male friends join in the verbal barrage.
When a staff member hands the woman her burger, she grabs it and throws it in workers' faces.
A female manager then grabs at the customer as a brawl erupts between the two women.
The pair slap at faces and grab hair as the customer's male companions strut up saying, "What's up?"
Staff come to their manager's aid but the two male customers intervene to allow the fight to continue as the blonde woman pulls the manager's hair and knees her in the face.
The women are eventually pulled apart and the customers flee the restaurant before police arrive.
"Life's too short to get that mad over a chicken sandwich," the mother said.
