Maryland state officials will provide an update on search and rescue efforts for as many as seven or more individuals believed missing following the crash of a cargo ship into a bridge near Baltimore’s harbor.

City and federal officials are also involved in the response.

The cargo vessel “Dali” was leaving Baltimore for Sri Lanka when it hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge across the Patapsco River around 1:30 a.m. EDT.

The press conference is slated for 9:30 a.m. EDT.
