Manitoba RCMP are looking for a 24-year-old man who was reported missing in Flin Flon and hasn't been seen in almost a week.

Trevin Steele was last seen on around 7:30 p.m. on May 23, police said Wednesday. He last contacted a family member around 3 a.m. on May 24.

RCMP say he was reported missing on Tuesday.

Steele is five feet, nine inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, RCMP said. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a green plaid jacket with white sweatpants, white runners and a hat.

RCMP said they have made "extensive" patrols in the area around Flin Flon and Creighton, just across the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border, without success. They and Steele's family are concerned for his well-being, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Flin Flon RCMP at 204-687-1422 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or leave a secure tip online at manitobacrimestoppers.com.
