A man has died and another two are in hospital after a hit and run crash in Brisbane’s outer-west.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Boundary and Progress Rds, in Wacol, after reports a Ford Mondeo and Toyota Camry crashed collided about 2.15am on Tuesday.

The Toyota Camry was a ride share car carrying two passengers and a driver, according to the Courier Mail.

Queensland Police confirmed the male passenger of the Toyota Camry died at the scene.

A 26-year-old female passenger of the Camry was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition with chest and abdominal pain.

The 42-year-old male driver of the Camry was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with suspected back injuries.

The driver of the Ford Mondeo fled the scene before police arrived.

Police are urging the driver to hand themselves in following the crash.

Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage is urged to contact police or Crimestoppers.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are ongoing.

It comes a day after a father and his 11-year-old daughter were killed in a multi-car crash in Sydney’s southwest on Sunday.

Thai Duong, 41, and his daughter Haili were in the back seat of a DiDi rideshare when it crashed, leaving Mr Duong’s nine-year-old son Justin in hospital with critical injuries.
