The body of a man has been found in a campervan, with police saying he suffered a "very violent death" judging by the amount of blood inside.
The man was found in an industrial car park in Kingsgrove, south of Sydney, on Wednesday at 10am and the homicide squad were called in to tape off the scene.
Police said the man suffered "a number of injuries."
The body was found in an early model Mazda campervan and locals said they had seen the same vehicle parked overnight from time to time.
"It gets a bit dark and desolate. It's not the most favourable place to be once night falls," nearby shop owner Sean Garlick said.
The victim has not yet been formally identified and a post mortem examination will be conducted.
