Man dies after ute crashes in paddock
A man has died and another is fighting for life after a ute rolled down a hill in a rural paddock, crashing into a tree.
Five people were in the car when it crashed on a private property off Macklins Rd in Limestone, in rural Victoria, about 11.05am on Sunday.
Aerial photographs of the crash scene show the front cabin had wrapped around the tree crushing the windscreen.
An Ashburton man, 21, died at the scene.
A Malvern man, 22, was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 21-year-old woman was flown to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two others escaped without injury.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
