Man dies after being pulled from lake
A man has died after he was pulled from a lake after going missing from a motorboat.
The man, in his 80s from Newcastle, was found in Derwentwater in Cumbria and taken to Cumberland Infirmary on Monday after a coastguard-led search.
The alarm was raised after an empty boat was spotted on the water.
Cumbria Police said there was nothing suspicious about the death.
