Man charged over alleged stabbing of Sydney dad found dumped in vacant car park
A man is behind bars after he was charged with the stabbing murder of Sydneysider Jamie Phillips, whose body was discovered in a vacant car park last year.
Mr Phillips, 46, was found by police in Rosemeadow on October 25, 2018.
The father’s body was found stripped naked and dumped in a vacant lot.
Detectives on Thursday arrested a 37-year-old man at a home in St Helens Park and charged him with Mr Phillips’ murder.
Police will allege he stabbed Mr Phillips at a home in Rosemeadow before dumping his body at the lot.
The man was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Friday.
