Man charged over lewd act at War Memorial
A man who allegedly urinated on a war memorial in Sydney during the week of Remembrance Day is set to face court.
Security allegedly saw the 25-year-old man urinate on the wall of the ANZAC War Memorial in Hyde Park about 12.50am on Sunday, police said.
Police arrested him at a nearby apartment complex before he was charged with committing an offensive act on a war memorial.
The 25-year-old man was granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on December 9.
