Man accused of assaulting saleswoman, 18, while trying to spoon-feed her yogurt

A teen doing door-to-door sales was allegedly indecently assaulted by a man inside his home as he tried to spoon-feed her yoghurt, police say.

The 18-year-old woman was invited inside the house of the man in Hurstville Grove, southern Sydney, on Friday about 7.30pm just after she finished her shift, according to police.

After entering the residence, the man allegedly indecently assaulted the woman several times and tried to spoon-feed her yoghurt.

Police said the teen managed to escape the home and reported the alleged incident the following day to officers from St George Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation.

Investigators arrested a 41-year-old man at a home in Hurstville Grove about 3.45pm Saturday and took him to Kogarah Police Station.

He was charged with incite another to sexually touch them without consent, and two counts of sexually touch another person without consent.

The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
