Malik unveils solo track
Former One Direction star *Zayn Malik *has given his fans across the world a taste of his new musical direction with the release of a tender solo demo.
Malik broke the hearts of 1D fanatics when he left the boy band last week but his new track, I Won't Mind, should put a few back together.
He has teamed up with English producer and songwriter *Naughty Boy *for the song, which is released on SoundCloud .
The atmospheric, guitar-backed style marks a major musical departure from Malik's boy-band days - even if he has only been gone for a week.
The release comes after One Direction's *Louis Tomlinson *attacked Naughty Boy on Twitter for gloating about his work with his former band mate.
Early yesterday Naughty Boy retweeted a video celebrating the collaboration with Malik, with the duo dubbed "Zaughty".
"Naughty Boy saved my life . . . Zaughty will rise," the video says.
But Tomlinson, above, hit back, accusing Naughty Boy of being immature and inconsiderate.
