A man and woman have been charged following a broad daylight shooting in Sydney’s west.

Police were called to a Bligh St property in Guildford about 9.35pm on November 27 following reports of a shooting.

Officers found a bullet hole through the front gate of the home upon arrival, with police initiating a manhunt for the gunman.

They were looking for the driver of a black ute that was seen shortly after the shooting and were investigating any links to Sydney’s gangland wars, The Daily Telegraph reported at the time.

No injuries were reported after the incident.

Photographs taken after the shooting show yellow evidence cones and stickers indicating suspected bullet holes through the gate and garbage bins.

A 29-year-old woman was arrested at the scene; however, she was released pending further inquiries.

About 9.30am on Wednesday, the same woman was arrested during a vehicle stop on Thorton Ave in Bass Hill.

She was charged with two counts of possessing an unauthorised pistol and hindering or resisting a police officer in the execution of duty.

Two hours later, a 30-year-old man was arrested in Ryde.

He was charged with three counts of supplying an unregistered firearm, acquiring a pistol subject to a firearms prohibition order, and discharging a firearm with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm (domestic violence).

Both the man and woman were refused bail with to appear before local courts on Thursday.
