MAFS' Duncan calls out Alyssa after she drops X-rated bombshell: 'Disrespectful'
EXCLUSIVE: Duncan has spoken out following Alyssa's comments about their sex life.
Married At First Sight’s Duncan James has responded to his TV ‘wife’ Alyssa Barmonde’s recent tell-all interview where she dropped an X-rated bombshell about their relationship.
Speaking on Selina Chhaur and Taku Chimwaza’s podcast Back To Reality this week, Alyssa revealed that she and Duncan had lied about the first time they had sex on the reality show.
“I do have a bit of a truth bomb,” she said. “We did not wait to intimacy week. So we had told everyone that we were waiting, that it never happened.”
Alyssa admitted that the first time she and Duncan had sex was on their honeymoon, which took place in Yarrawonga, Victoria.
“Look, I don’t want to throw him under the bus because I initially agreed with him,” she explained. “But he had said, ‘Look, let’s not tell anyone about this. I feel like we'll be a bit more respected if we just wait until after Intimacy Week’. And I was like, ‘That's a good idea’.”

Duncan has now spoken out about Alyssa’s comments, telling Yahoo Lifestyle he thinks “it’s disrespectful to discuss anything physical”.
“My focus is on my relationship with Evelyn, not something that happened last year,” he said. “I won’t talk negatively about Alyssa and I wish her all the best.”
Duncan and Evelyn reveal their first impressions
While Duncan and Evelyn denied claims that their relationship started on the show during an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle last month, the pair did share their surprising first impressions of one another.
“My first impression of Duncan was obviously he went into the experiment a little earlier than I did and the photos had leaked of everyone,” Evelyn recalled.
“And I was going through the cast and there was a lovely, lovely photo of Duncan with his shirt off and a little Santa hat on the balcony and I thought, ‘He’s a bit alright!’.”

“Obviously I thought she was a very attractive woman, that was my first impression,” Duncan remarked.
“I also thought, I was thinking with those looks might come with a particular type of attitude, but she wasn't like that actually. It's not until you actually spend sort of three days together when you do the partner swap that you actually get to know someone a little bit further. So that's when you can build a bit of a friendship and get to know them.”
