London travel news LIVE: Disruption hits St Pancras trains as Euston, Marylebone and Paddington delays clear
Rail passengers faced travel misery on Tuesday as services to and from three key stations - Euston, Paddington, and Marylebone - were simultaneously hit by major disruption.
Major disruption hit services between Watford Junction and Euston with trains cancelled or delayed by up to an hour until mid-afternoon.
A signalling fault earlier caused major disruption to trains to and from Marylebone for hours, but this cleared around 3pm.
The issue on Tuesday morning left frustrated passengers stuck for more than an hour on stationary trains, and people told not to travel on the Chiltern Railways network
Major disruption also earlier affected Heathrow Express, Elizabeth Line, and Great Western Railway services between Paddington and Slough/Heathrow Terminals. Lines have also reopened there, and disruption was understood to have ended around 1pm.
But misery continued for commuters as an electricity failure hit London St Pancras International. It will mean delays to Southeastern services to and from the station until 7pm, National Rail said.

Meanwhile Tom Wehrle said his London-bound train had been stuck just outside Marylebone for an hour.
What about those of us stuck on your trains? We are a few hundred yards past West Ruislip, why can’t the train back up to the station so we can use the underground services there?

Oliver Perry wrote: “I have been on the 06:41 train now having got on at Haddenham for 2 hours 20 mins and still stuck by Wembley”.
Prof Tim O’Brien said it had taken “almost two hours” to do a journey that should typically have taken 23 minutes.
Any chance of an update? Been sat stationary for an hour outside Marylebone, so currently already an hour and 20 behind schedule and not even at the final stop yet! Is there compensation for costs spent on expensive training courses that can’t be attended due to “signal failures”

Meanwhile another passenger pleaded for Chiltern to turn up the heating on their train, saying they were “freezing” in the air con.
