Trains travelling to and from Charing Cross can not stop at a train station after a power cut.

Some Southeastern services can not stop at West Wickham following the power failure on Sunday night, which has continued to cause issues throughout Monday.

UK Power Networks have said the power will be restored by 7pm. National Rail has said there are no trains expected at West Wickham until around 7.45pm.

Earlier on Monday travellers faced delays to Heathrow Airport on the Piccadilly Line while Transport for London fixed a signal failure at Arsenal.

No trains between Golders Green and Charing Cross on Northern Line

There are currently no trains between Golders Green and Charing Cross on the Northern Line due to a late finish of engineering works.

There are also minor delays on the rest of the line.

Lighting issue affects trains through Finsbury Park

A problem with the station lighting at Finsbury Park means that trains are having to run at a reduced speed on all lines, says National Rail.

Trains running through the station may be delayed by up to 15 minutes, and the disruption is expected until 10pm.

Routes affected:

  • Great Northern between Moorgate and Welwyn Garden City / Stevenage, and between London Kings Cross and Welwyn Garden City / Cambridge / Ely / Kings Lynn

  • Thameslink between Brighton and Cambridge, and between Horsham and Peterborough
