Liverpool are set to lift the Premier League trophy on the Kop following the conclusion of their final home match against Chelsea.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have secured the club’s first title in 30 years, though no fans will be in attendance due to measures in place following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Liverpool will lift the Premier League trophy in a presentation at Anfield after their penultimate match of the season against Chelsea tonight.

The Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson, will lift the title for the club, their first for 30 years, in a ceremony on the Kop for which the club have spent around £1m.

Fans will not be allowed to attend the event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic but millions of Liverpool supporters are set to watch the historic event around the world.

Following the game against the Blues on 22 July, a ceremony will take place to honour the latest Premier League champions, who hold a 21-point advantage over second-place Manchester City.

Reds legend Sir Kenny Dalglish, the manager of the club when they last won the title in 1990, will be a member of the Trophy presentation party.
