Now this is something you don't see everyday. A man has been filmed cycling a Lime rental bike through a busy tunnel in Sydney's inner-east over the weekend.

In dramatic video shared online, the smartly-dressed man tries to cycle over a divide between two lanes, sending him sprawling across the bitumen in the Eastern Distributor.

The woman who filmed the moment revealed she was "shocked" to see the man in the tunnel. Crews were forced to rush and close the lane, a Transurban spokesperson said. Cyclists are prohibited from entering Sydney's network of tunnels.

A man has now been charged following the discovery of a woman's body at a home in regional NSW.

NSW Police confirmed on Monday afternoon a 29-year-old man has been charged with murder.

NCA Newswire reported the woman found dead at a Forbes home, 350km wes was Molly Ticehurst.

Her body was found at a Forbes home, 350km west of Sydney, after reports of concern for a woman's welfare.

A man has been arrested by police and inquiries continue. No charges have been laid.

Authorities have confirmed a large crocodile that killed a teenage boy in Queensland's Far North last week has been euthanised.

The boy was trying to swim to safety when his dinghy off Saibai Island, near Papua New Guinea, broke down. He sustained fatal injuries "consistent with a crocodile attack".

The crocodile was located on Friday and euthanised the following day and its body disposed off at sea at the request of the community.

"The animal displayed parading behaviour such as raising its head as it swam, which is consistent with it being the target animal," Queensland's environment department said.

A man and woman have been saved by passing kayakers when their small tinny sank two kilometres from shore while out fishing.

The pair were near Spy Island on the state's north coast when their boat tipped about 12.30pm on Sunday. Wearing lifejackets, they managed to survive in the water for 90 minutes before the kayakers heard their cries for help.

"I was yelling out: 'Where are you? Where are you?' and then I saw two heads bobbing in the water," kayaker Gillian Pitt told the ABC.

Police later thanked the kayakers and others who managed to bring the pair safely back to land.

“The willingness of people to volunteer their time and resources resulted in a very successful rescue to which we can only say thank you," Senior Sergeant James Scicluna said.

Four people have escaped with minor injuries after a tree fell on them in a Wollongong park on Sunday afternoon.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said a young girl, a woman in her 30s and two women in their 40s were treated at the scene. They were all taken to hospital in a stable condition.

It comes after a woman was killed by a falling tree branch in an Adelaide park in February.

A comedian has doubled down on his decision to boot a breastfeeding mum from his show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival over the weekend.

US comedian Arj Barker asked the mum to leave the theatre on Saturday night as she fed her seven-month-old child.

The woman told 3AW she was left "humiliated" by the request, which reportedly led to several other women walking out of the show in solidarity. Witnesses say the baby was not being overly disruptive, however Barker claimed he was being distracted.

Barker has since defended his request, saying the gig was strictly 15 and over and the woman should never have been allowed into the show.

“I felt bad about the whole situation and stated this on the night more than once. I offered her a refund," Barker said in a statement, the Herald Sun reports.

In news just in, police in NSW have arrested a man after a woman's body was found inside a regional home.

NSW Police were called to the property in Forbes, 350km west of Sydney, after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman.

"Officers from Central West Police District attended and located the body of woman inside. She is yet to be formally identified, however believed to be in her late 20s," police said in a statement.

Investigations are ongoing.

Inspector Amy Scott, the heroic police officer who shot dead Bondi Junction knifeman Joel Cauchi, has made her first public appearance since the attack as she joined hundreds of others at a candlelight vigil on Sunday evening.

She was seen hugging emotional members of the community as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the vigil was a chance for the community to grieve the loss of loved ones.

Local mayor Paula Masselos told those who gathered the attack on April 13 was unfathomable, delivering a defiant message in the process.

"We are all in mourning ... But let me say this - our spirit must not and will not be diminished," she said.
