White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will deliver a press briefing aboard Air Force One on a short flight from Delaware Air National Guard Base to White Plains, N.Y. President Biden is heading to Greenwich, Conn., this evening for a campaign reception.

Biden is reportedly planning to sign an executive order that could temporarily block the entry of migrants at the southern U.S. border based on the number of daily encounters. The move marks a new direction for the White House, which has previously advocated, unsuccessfully, for congressional action on the issue.

The briefing is scheduled to start at 5:25 p.m. EDT.
