Leeds United charity appoint Milner as new CEO

The Leeds United Foundation has appointed Whites supporter Frances Milner as new chief executive officer.

Milner replaces John Mallalieu, who was accused of bullying staff and creating a "toxic" environment, following an internal investigation in June 2023.

Before taking up this role, Milner spent four years as director of fundraising and marketing at The Prince's Trust and worked for Cancer Research UK in a number of senior roles.

Chief executive, Angus Kinnear said: "We are excited for the future of the Leeds United Foundation with Frances at the helm.

"She has a proven track record in the charity sector and we now look forward to her driving the Foundation in a positive trajectory."
