Kim Kardashian breaks down during interview: 'F***ing hard'

Kim Kardashian has broken down in a rare interview discussing her co-parenting situation with her ex-husband Kanye West.

Speaking on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast, the SKIMS founder broke down as she spoke about raising her four children – North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 – with the American rapper.

"It's really f***ing hard," she admitted as she wiped away tears, adding she tried to protect her children from Kanye's controversial views.

“I had the best dad, and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that,” Kim said about her late father Robert.

“That’s what I would want for them.

"If they don’t know the things that are being said or what’s happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That’s really heavy grown-up s*** that they’re not ready to deal with.”

Kim said she would not say a negative word about Kanye to her children and if they eventually ask questions about his controversial behaviour she will answer them in private.

“One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not bashing their dad when I could,” she told the podcast.

“All the crazy s***. They’ll thank me and I’ll privately answer anything that they want to know. It’s not my place anymore to jump in.”

Kanye recently copped backlash after saying anti-semitic remarks, such as he "likes Hitler".

He also wore a 'White Lives Matter' shirt along with a right-wing commentator at Paris Fashion Week in October.
