Jake Paul appears to have a new woman in his life: 24-year-old Jutta Leerdam from the Netherlands. And if his Instagram account is any indication, the two are getting hot and heavy.
Paul, a YouTube star and professional boxer, was first linked to Leerdam last week by TMZ. However, nothing was confirmed until several days later, when Paul posted a series of intimate photos of the couple together on Instagram, along with the caption, “I’m Dutch now.”
Since then, many fans have considered the two to be officially an item.
Naturally, many American fans have been left wondering who exactly Leerdam is and what sparked her own rise to fame. But in the international sports world, Leerdam has actually been a pretty well-known name for a while now.
Who is Jutta Leerdam?
Leerdam is a Dutch professional speed skater who won the 1,000-meter world title twice in 2020 and 2023, as well as the silver medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics and a gold at the World Sprint Championships in 2022.
She told Infrostada Sports that she fell in love with skating at a young age and got her start by playing hockey.
“I played hockey for eight years,” Leerdam shared with the outlet. “I enjoyed it, but I have never been a team player. I regularly had to sit on the reserve bench.”
Eventually, she realized that speed skating was the perfect match, adding that “the individual aspect of skating appeals to me” over team sports.
Since then, she has never looked back.

Like Paul, Leerdam has grown an impressive social media following in her own right, with over 4.1 million followers on her Instagram account alone. Known for her natural beauty and ease behind the camera, the athlete frequently posts modeling photos on Instagram and has even been labeled the “world’s hottest speed skater” by the Dutch media.
Prior to Paul, 26, Leerdam was dating fellow speed skater Koen Verweij, but according to TMZ, the two split in August 2022. Now that the world champ has been linked to Paul, however, the public has had mixed reactions.
“This is most definitely not it,” one fan wrote after seeing Leerdam post her own photos with Paul.
“PLS TELL ME APRIL FOOLS,” demanded another.
“As an American I can tell the world to watch this,” warned someone else. “It will be like watching a train wreck.”
Someone else jokingly asked if Leerdam chose Paul because Pete Davidson wasn’t available.

The pushback isn’t a total surprise. For one thing, Paul is known for his “bad boy” reputation. In fact, his series of scandals is kind of what made him a household name, with Insider calling him both the most popular and the most hated YouTuber on the platform right now.
But as for his relationship with Leerdam, there’s no telling where this will go. So far, the photos that both celebs have shared feature lots of hand-holding, deep, dreamy stares and laughing.
