Jason Kelce on Shirtless Chiefs Game Antics: Wife Wanted Me on ‘Best Behavior’ as They Met Taylor Swift
Was Jason Kelce on his “best behavior” when he leaped out of a luxury box, shirtless, during the Chiefs’ divisional playoff win against the Bills, so soon after finally meeting his brother Travis’ girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift?

During the second quarter of Sunday evening’s playoff game (which was watched by a record 50 million people), Philadelphia Eagles center Jason peeled off a “Big Yeti” (his nickname for his kid brother) shirt before leaning out of the luxury box to maniacally cheer a TD scored by Chiefs tight end Travis, whilst never splashing a drop of his Labatt Blue Light.
Jason then full-on clambered out of the box, to stand bare-chested amongst many Bills fans (and get back to his beer) in the 16-degree temps. And all with Swift— whom he and wife Kylie had just met for the first time! — standing just a few feet away.
“I got caught up in the magic of Bills Mafia,” Jason told Travis in the latest episode of the brothers’ New Heights podcast (embedded above). “It is electric, the energy, the shenanigans….”
Having planned but failed to go shirtless during an outdoor, pre-game tailgate session, “I was like, ‘I’ve got to get my shirt off at some point,'” Jason explained.
“This is how my mind works after 40 Miller Lites!” he quipped, alluding to his other suds of choice for the big day. “This is just a man in his elements with his Bills Mafia compadres, enjoying the dead of winter. That’s what this is.”
When Travis asked his big brother what wife Kylie thought of the bare-chested display, Jason admitted, “I don’t think she was happy about it” — though he had given her a heads up. “The moment we got into the suite, I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt ooff and jumping out.’ And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare‘…. She was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor,” more than five months after Travis started dating the singer.
And what did Swift herself make of Jason’s shirtless shenanigans?
“Well, Taylor said she absolutely loved you,” Travis assured his brother on the new podcast, “so….”
