Hundreds Arrested as Bolsonaro Supporter Camp Dismantled in Brasilia

At least 1,200 supporters of former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro were detained as part of the dismantling of a protester camp near army headquarters in Brasilia, Brazil, on Monday, January 9, local media reported.

Footage recorded by local journalist George Marques shows uniformed officers dismantling tents near Avenue do Exercito.

Local media reported that at least 1,200 people were detained and taken by buses to the headquarters of the Federal Police following orders to dismantle the camp on Monday.
