The 2024 Oscars are just hours away with nominated movies including Barbie, Oppenheimer, Poor Things, Past Lives, The Zone of Interest and many more.
For the 96th Academy Awards, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy, leads the pack with the most nominations, 13 in total, followed by Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things with Emma Stone, at 11 nominations.
Additionally, Canadian actor Ryan Gosling will have a highly anticipated performance of the song "I'm Just Ken" from Greta Gerwig's Barbie.

When are the Oscars and what time do they start
The Oscars are on Sunday, March 10.
This year, the event will begin an hour earlier than previous years, at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT.
Where to watch the 2024 Oscars: TV channel and streaming
In the U.S., the Oscars will air on the ABC TV channel, while in Canada, you can watch the live event on CTV, CTV.ca and the CTV app.
American viewers can stream the ceremony on Hulu the next day, but Canadians do not have a local streaming option for the show.
How to watch the Oscars Red Carpet
There are a variety of options for Red Carpet broadcasts for the Oscars, but remember with the earlier ceremony start time, you'll be see stars arriving earlier as well.
On E!, Live From E!: The Oscars will begin at 4:00 p.m. ET/1:00 PT, hosted by Laverne Cox. But there will also be E!'s Brunch at the Oscars, which will begin at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT, with co-hosts Justin Sylvester, Zanna Roberts Rassi and Nikki Garcia.
Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough will host ABC's The Oscars Red Carpet Show, which will start at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
For a Canadian option, ETALK's Countdown to the Oscars will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT on CTV.
Who is hosting the 2024 Oscars
Jimmy Kimmel will be the host of the 2024 Academy Awards. This will be his fourth year leading the event, after hosting in 2017, 2018 and 2023.
Who is performing at the Oscars this year
The Oscars are set to be a big night for Canadian, particularly because of Gosling's "I'm Just Ken" performance, with Mark Ronson.
Other performers for the evening include Jon Batiste, Becky G, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, Scott George and the Osage Singers.
