House-hunter stunned by hilarious feature that comes with apartment

A man hunting for a new home has gone viral online after he posted photos of an unusual fridge that was featured in one apartment.

Twitter went crazy for the photos posted by director and photographer Drew Kaufman, of a fridge painted to look like Stewie Griffin from the cartoon series Family Guy.

“Hunting for apartments and nowhere in the unit description do they address the refrigerator painted to look like Stewie from Family Guy,” Kaufman wrote under the Twitter handle @Diet_Hellboy.

While some people may have found the unique style of whitegoods a turn off, Kaufman, who is also a cartoonist, loved the fridge for paying homage to the cult animated show.

“This is the greatest day of my life. Also he has little arms!” Kaufman posted, adding that if he was a successful tenant he would paint the entire apartment to match the Family Guy style fridge.

People on Twitter loved the quirky fridge, retweeting the post more than 15,000 times and hitting the like button on the post more than 120,000 times.

“I love how plain everything else is compared to it. Why have an accent wall when you can have an accent fridge?” one person replied.

“Why put it in the description, it speaks for itself,” another said.

“Put a deposit down now!” a few people wrote.

Kaufman later updated the thread after he was contacted by the current tenant of the apartment, who confirmed the fridge was included with the unit.

“I LOVE that everyone loves my Stewie fridge as much as I do. Sadly, he is for sale. I can’t take him with me. He’s made me very happy and I know he’ll make his next person happy,” Crystal Flores wrote.

Kaufman has not confirmed if he has signed a lease on the apartment but he is using his new viral status to raise money and awareness for homeless black trans women.
