Here's what's open and closed in Windsor on Victoria Day

The unofficial start to summer, the May long weekend, is here. Here's a look at what's open — and closed — on Victoria Day.

What's open

  • Local 211 services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week over the holiday long weekend.

  • Adventure Bay Family Water Park will be open.

  • The Homelessness and Housing Help Hub will be open regular hours.

  • Transit Windsor buses are operating, but on the Sunday/holiday schedule.

  • Devonshire and Tecumseh Malls will be open regular hours on Saturday and Monday.

  • Splash pads are open for the season.

What's closed or postponed

  • Government offices including Service Canada and Service Ontario are closed.

  • The City of Windsor's administrative offices will be closed, along with the 311 contact centre.

  • Residential garbage and recycling collection will be delayed by one day. Public household and chemical waste depots will also be closed.

  • Windsor community centres, customer care centres, pools and arenas will be closed.

  • All branches of the Windsor Public Library will be closed.

  • Museum Windsor location are closed on Mondays.
