HelloFresh delivery driver's unbelievable act at doorstep
A Queensland couple's security footage has captured the shocking moment a delivery driver steals their package, just seconds after taking a photo as proof of delivery.
Jamie, from Wavell Heights, told 7News he had received his tracking confirmation from HelloFresh just after 1am on Monday, however the box was not at his front door when he went to check.
The next day, the couple checked their security cameras and were shocked when they discovered the culprit.
The vision shows the delivery driver put the box down at the front door, take a photo as evidence he had delivered it, and then pick the box up and walk off.
“We were both quite shocked when we saw the footage, we wouldn’t have thought that a representative of HelloFresh would be so brazen,” Jamie told 7News.
He said HelloFresh were "very apologetic" and offered a refund and the option of another delivery.
“(She) did offer to arrange another delivery but I politely declined as I had already made other meal plans for the week," Jamie said.
The couple said they also called police about the theft.
